• 描述Tanshinone I, a major active principle of Salvia miltiorrhiza with anti-tumor and anti-metastasis effcts. In vitro, Tanshinone-1 had an IC₅₀ value of 7.75 μM in HMEC-1 cells for the 72-h treatment. Tanshinone-1 displayed only marginal proliferation inhibition on HMEC-1 cells even at 50 μM. In endothelial cells, tanshinone-1 almost completely inhibited phosphorylation of Stat3 at Tyr705 ^[3]. In vivo, Tanshinone I could inhibit apoptosis and inflammation in IL-1β-stimulated CHON-001 cells. Moreover, Tanshinone I treatment markedly decreased the subchondral bone thickness and synovitis scores^[4].
